Granato is the Fratelli Meroni's single-varietal Merlot, grown in Biasca and the neighbouring valleys of Leventina and Blenio. After 18 days of maceration, it matures for a year in vats and ages 5 months in bottle, resulting in a soft and fruity wine, pleasant and immediate to drink.

It pairs well with cured meats, first courses and young cheeses. It is recommended to serve in large-bowled glasses, at around 18-20°C.
