Cantina alla Maggia's Kerner comes from one of the pioneering vineyards of this variety in Switzerland: the winery was among the first to bet on this semi-aromatic German cross between Trollinger and Riesling, finding in the Delta della Maggia in Ascona the ideal terroir to express it in its purest form. Straw yellow with greenish highlights, it offers aromas of ripe pear, green apple and winter melon, with a finish of fresh aromatic herbs such as mint and sage.

On the palate it impresses with fullness and salinity, with a slightly bitter finish that accompanies its persistence. Excellent with boiled spider crab, eggs Benedict, or risotto with borage pesto, spinach and fresh goat cheese.
