Grappa Merlot Ticinese Delta Spirits 37.5 cl.

A grappa made from Merlot pomace, selected from the vineyards of the Maggia delta in Ascona. Batch distillation, following historic Ticino techniques, is followed by ageing in steel at Cantina alla Maggia. Since 1999 Ticino has been the only region outside Italy authorised to call pomace spirit "grappa". The bouquet is elegant and refined, with herbaceous notes and a fresh character; the taste is intense, full and enveloping. Characteristics: 45% vol., 37.5 cl format. Pairings: ideal as an end-of-meal digestif, served neat in a tasting glass.
